Downtown N. Wilkesboro Spooktacular Festival

Vendor business partner spots are SOLD OUT! We are still accepting applications for back up vendors. We know things happen and may have some last minute open spots.

Why? The historic Trail of Treats will NOT be coming back to N. Wilkesboro. A group of Downtown N. Wilkesboro business owners got together to solve the problem. We decided to throw a downtown Halloween street party, but we need your help! We will be looking for craft vendors, musicians, local businesses, nonprofits and more to get involved! Come sell your goods or promote your business or services.

In order to have a festival feel, we will need BOTH vendors and candy stations. We want vendors to bring their crafts or products to sell. We do NOT expect vendors to have to give away candy in addition and incur this expense. You are welcome to hand out as much candy as you like, but we don’t want families to visit your booth with the sole expectation of getting candy. We DO need businesses or organizations that would like to promote their organization or just be a part of the community by hosting a candy station. This is a big commitment and our best guess is that you will need 4 to 5 thousand pieces of candy to host (and be advertised as) a candy station. Please consider the options that works best for you. There is a $25 both rental for venders selling and no charge for candy station sponsors. If you prefer to solely be a candy state but are unsure if you can commit to this large of an expense, let us know and we can put groups together or come up with another creative way for you to participate.

Please let us know if you feel you can contribute in any other special way. We are open to all ideas! We plan to have costume contests, pumpkin painting, and anything else we can dream up. Let’s all work together to make this a great new event for families to attend each year! Rules and Guidelines for Vendors:* Booth set up will be 1 hour before event is set to begin* Each vendor assumes liability for all damages to their products, goods and equipment; this liability extends to any and all event participants. Vendors shall hold harmless the event and its steering committee, Downtown North Wilkesboro Merchants Association including its board members and officers, sponsors, The Town of North Wilkesboro, and any merchant or business involved, of any and all claims, fees, costs, expenses and damages arising therefrom.Vendors/ exhibitors are allowed to sell ONLY items in the application and agreement form. All items need to be child appropriate.* All spaces are 10×10* Registration forms are due by 10/14/2022 and notification of approval will be by 10/16/2022 .* DNWMA reserves the right to cancel the event due to inclement weather. No refunds will be made due to inclement weather.Vendors are Responsible for:* The safety of booth during the event.* Clean Up of any litter in or around your booth. If you will be using cooking oil for food preparation, please be prepared to remove and dispose of the oil. DO NOT leave oil in trash bins or on the street.Appropriate type of fire extinguishers inside your booth at all times. "Class K Fire Extinguisher for grease/ cooking oils and Class ABC Fire Extinguisher for all other potential flammable items. Each fire extinguisher will need to be tagged as serviced within the last year.* Booth Set Up: Tents, tables, tablecloths, chairs, etc.* Abiding by all rules, regulations and guidelines delineated within this vendor package.* Due to limited power supplies please bring power strips and heavy duty electrical cords IF you requested power AND we approved your request.(required)
