Safety Comes First

At The Block, your safety is our highest priority. Our go-kart track and every kart on it are inspected regularly by the State of North Carolina to ensure they meet all applicable safety requirements. In addition to those state inspections, our team performs daily operational checks and follows maintenance procedures that exceed the minimum standards whenever possible.

While we work hard to provide a safe, well-maintained attraction, go-karting is an active experience and, like any motorsport, involves inherent risks. Every driver plays an important role in creating a safe environment by following all posted rules and listening carefully to our team members during the safety briefing.

To help ensure everyone has a great experience, all drivers are expected to:

• Follow all instructions from our track attendants.
• Keep both hands on the steering wheel while driving.
• Avoid intentional contact with other karts or the track barriers.
• Drive responsibly and safely at all times.
• Drivers must be 8+ years old and 53 inches tall and in closed toe shoes.

Our team reserves the right to slow down or remove any driver from the track if they are operating a kart in an unsafe manner.
